Karyn rose the stone to her lips and muttered something quietly.
"What did you say?" Mark demanded. But the only reply, came in the form of the crisp light that swelled from the stone.

When finally it settled, Mark was asleep and in his own bed - and now aged thirteen!
Standing outside the door, a now-thirty-something-Karyn smiled.
"A perfect 'Mom age' she giggled to herself. Putting the stone away, she rubbed her hands together. "Okay then, lets see if we can re-discipline this guy...."
