Mark raised the stone in his hand. He looked quite silly that way, but he must have felt more powerful or something. He felt like a great wizard casting spells. The thing was he was almost one.
"I wish that always everything within the stone's range will resemble the conditions of the wishes made, even the worldwide ones. That means that even things like the TV signals are going to change upon entering the zone. Even better! I wish that also people's memories would change according to the side of the stone range there are on."
The TV image went static for a moment and then changed to show a male news anchor announcing 'breaking' news: for some unknown reasons all the women lost control over their bladders for one brief moment. That was enough however to already cause some accidents and a lot of panic.
"That was a clever one." said Jon "I would have never thought about playing it this way. I think you should be more careful though..."
"Oh come on Jon!" Mark interrupted "with this thing we don't ever have to be careful anymore! We can be masters of this world! At least of the world inside the stone limit zone... Actually... I wish that neither me nor Jon can leave the stone limit zone unless I want us to. That way we won't have to worry about the reality of our choice be ever taken away from us by some stupid accident."
Jon thought that this was a fair point. He didn't like however that because of a bad choice of pronoun he was dependent now of Mark's will regarding him staying within the stone' range. And Mark still had some wishes to wish:
"You know Jon, I don't really like the panic this whole pants-wetting thingy caused. Let's fix it:"
"I wish that people won't panic anymore because what happened is completely normal because..."
