"I wish that Karyn remembered the old reality like she had heard my last two wishes," Jon said.
"What's happened?" Karyn asked. "Where are we?"
"I think I may have messed things up," said Jon. "I shouldn't have used the wishing stone like I did. I wished that my mom wouldn't set me up with dates."
"Why did that teleport us here?"
Karyn has no idea Jon thought. "Well look at this picture." Jon pointed to the photo sitting on the room's dresser.
"I'm in a wedding dress! Does that mean...." She paused. "Ah.... I guess that's a logical way for the stone to take not getting dates. We're both even now on making impulsive wishes, I guess."
Wow, she's not mad like I thought she'd be. Jon thought.
"Anyways, I guess it could be worse. Since we have the stone, everything should turn out fine in the end. Let's just wait a bit and think before we try to fix it so that we don't make it worse."
"So I guess we live here now," Jon said.
"I really wonder what the stone's explanation for this outcome was."
To Jon, she looked more curious than anything. He felt relieved.
Jon said "Let's look around the house and see what we find out about our life."
"Hey, at least this wish could be interesting," said Karyn.
