Jon sighed as he placed his hand on his hip. How he wished that Karyn could see the same way as him, how important it was for people to wear fitting clothes, stylish accessories and stay on trend. She was never going to impress any boys if she didn't start taking Jon's advice.

As he reached into the closet for something to accessorize Karyn with, he thought to himself. What he needed was some way to get through to her, a way to make her listen to what he has to say. Curiously, when Jon's hand was removed from the closet it had retrieved a silver bracelet with what seemed to be a shimmering pink gem encrusted into it. He cocked an eyebrow, it wasn't exactly in this season but something about the dainty piece of jewelry gave him pause.

"Well Jonnie I have to admit, this outfit is a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. A lot brighter than anything I'd wear normally though." Karyn spoke as she walked out from their make-shift dresser. Jon smirked at his handy-work. It wasn't much, but it was a start. Karyn's green blouse and yellow skirt matched perfectly. After all, Cosmo said that bold colors were so in this year.

"Here Karyn, this should finish off the ensemble." Jon said as he minced towards her. He had swapped out his shoes for a pair of white, open-toed heels with a three inch kicky heel. Cosmo said that heels would extenuate his figure and men loved it when a woman showed off their figure. Not that Jon was a woman, but if it impressed boys then he just had to do it.

Karyn warily took the bracelet from Jon, earlier she would have disregarded him but the outfit he had produced for her was startlingly comfortable, so she gave the bracelet a try.

As soon as Karyn placed the bracelet around her wrist, Jon noticed a change in her demeanor, her back straightened and her eyes widened slightly. Before, she had been begrudgingly going along with Jon's fashion show but now, her eyes showed a keen interest.

"Wow Jon... I've never felt this comfortable and... pretty at the same time." Karyn said as she ran her hands down here sides. And she meant it, she was worried that something had changed for the worse in Jon but now... now she couldn't help but see the virtues of his new personality. In fact, maybe he was right about what he said earlier. She did have to do something about her look.

"You know Jon, if you have any other tips about fashion... or anything else... then just let me know." She said with a curious gleam in her eyes.

"Well, for starters, you should take your own advice and starting reading Cosmo, there's a lot of really useful stuff in those magazines that will help you out in every aspect of your life. Start following celebrity trends, see what famous people are doing and copy their style. Try to fit in. Follow influencers on Instagram, stay up to date with celebrity gossip. That kind of thing should be very important to you from now on. Oh, and you have a great chest! Don't be afraid to show it off, it should make you feel good when guys look at it." Jon offered advice that he had read in Cosmo. Or did it come from himself? He was having trouble differentiating lately.

Karyn listened intently to Jon, so intently that she missed her bracelet glimmer slightly in the light. His words worked their way into her mind. Follow celebrity trends. Copy their style. Fit in. Celebrity gossip was very important. Read Cosmo. Show off her chest. Previously she would've laughed at this advice but now it all seemed to click in her head. Jon was right. This stuff did matter.

"Wow..." Karyn gaped as she seemed to blink out from a trance "That really does make sense. I should get going, I've got lots to catch up on!" She quickly grabbed the outfit that Jon had secretly switched out, not that she would care too much now, and exited the room, her skirt swishing behind her as she did.

Jon smiled, satisfied. He wasn't sure what had gotten into Karyn but he wasn't complaining. Anyway, he had bigger issues on his mind: his nails! Cosmo had an entire section on why well-kept, manicured nails were an important part of any outfit. While his mom had been lenient on his skipping of school, he doubted that he could convince her to lend her the money needed for a full mani-pedi. It was a shame his closet only did clothes, he needed some way to get the money for a trip to the salon. He thought this as he pulled out a white clutch bag that he needed to go with his shoes.

As he unzipped it to place his mother's borrowed lip gloss in (if you weren't topping up your lip gloss every ten minuets then you were doing something wrong) he found a wad of cash sat inside. He let out a high-pitched gasp of glee. The money wasn't important, that kind of stuff didn't matter to him, what was important is what it could buy. He held the wad in his hand, this was more than enough for a manicure, hell, it was enough for a full makeover!
