Karyn nodded when Jon spoke to her in Finnish. She tried to look that she understood what Jon was talking to her.
Then a practice started, but it was diffrent than before. Not only Jon was among soprano's voices now, but for the first time he has been singing solo. At first he wasn't sure, but when he started, his strong, sound soprano voice filled the hall.
Other people were listening to his solo with awe, as Jon was changing his voice from a very high sounds to lower ones. Other voices seemed to be barely a background for Jon's voice.
When the practice stopped, Jon was astonished by his own performance. It just wasn't possible for him to sing like that, he didn't have such skills.
Sarah congratulated him his performance, telling him its an honor to sing alongside such great singer as he is. Karyn also said something in English, she also congratualted him as Jon understood, with his now limited English skills.
Mr.Mocher approached Jon, delighted. He put his hands on Jon's shoulder.
"Tarja, it was incredible, just incredible."
Jon looked at him suprised. Did he just call him "Tarja"? Jon knew that name and if he was right, it would explained a lot. Unfortunately, Jon wasn't happy of that, as he propably knew how the stone interpretted his wish.
