Before I could even begin to get used to my new form, I heard my mothers voice at my door. "Jaymee, you'd better hurry up or you'll be late for soccer practice."'
I assumed that she was talking to me, which confirmed my belief that reality would change when words were spelled out. I dumped the blocks into my closet were no one could see them, then got ready for practice.'
I was already wearing a jersey, and I thought the skirt would do for my lower half. My socks seemed to be of the thicker fabric of soccer socks. I laced up my cleats since I couldn't find any shin guards, and grabbed my purse off my desk, making sure the stone was in it. Strangely, as I was heading down the steps to the kitchen, I could feel my mind changing. I still could remember the old me, Jon, but he was more like a distant memory. I this reality, I was Jaymee.'
In the kitchen, I almost immediately ran into my mother.'
"Oh, there you are Jaymee. Hey! You know what I've sad about wearing your cleats in the house."'
"Argh, yes Mom." I jogged around her and out the door. I couldn't help but notice that she had also been a catgirl, or a wocat as I believed they were called. Strangely, she had had a second pair of breasts below the first. Then my anatomy knowledge kicked I. And told me that during their first pregnancy, wocats grew a second pair of breasts because of the way they nurse their liters. Which reminded me, I must be part of my own liter.
I arrived at my car, which I knew was mine A) because I loved it and B) because it was part of my memory. I hoped in and drove off to the school, (since I was on the school team.)
