Sarah McMillan walked into Jon's bedroom to look for the wishing stone. After school, she witnessed Karyn using the stone to give herself good looks, making her look almost as hot as Sarah herself. At first, she couldn't quite believe what she was seeing, but then she overheard what they were talking about and then knew for sure that what they had was a way to make wishes come true. Right there and then, Sarah decided that that kind of power shouldn't be left in the hands of losers like Jon and Karyn. It needed to belong to someone important, someone worthy, someone like Sarah. She followed Jon home and waited for the right opportunity to sneak into his house and then into his bedroom, doing her best not to get caught by members of his family. She figured that his bedroom was the most likely place to start looking for the stone. But after two minutes of searching, she couldn't find it. What she didn't know was that Jon took the stone with him when he went to put out the garbage. Frustrated, she turned and headed for the door. And that's when she accidentally tripped over the alphabet blocks sitting on the bedroom floor.
"Stupid blocks," she muttered in irritation. "What the hell are those doing in here?"
She picked one up and momentarily looked at it. They were brand new. "Figures. I knew Jon was a dork. I'm surprised he doesn't have a bunch of action figures and stuffed animals too."
Then, not really thinking about what she was doing, she casually began placing blocks side-by-side, remembering back when she used to play with these, all those years ago (yeah, when she was, like, three). Unfortunately, what she didn't realize was that when she did that, she'd magically become whatever she spelled out.
And when she was finished, she spelled out ...
