The next morning, Karyn stopped by at Jon's house earlier than she usually did. In fact, Jon was still asleep.
The knocking on his bedroom door didn't immediately wake him up, but Karyn walking into his room definitely did.
"Hey, Jon-boy! Wake up!" she yelled.
Jon jerked awake. "Karyn? What the hell are you ..."
"Come on, Jon. Wake up. I wanna try out the stone again."
Jon grumbled. All he wanted to do was go back to sleep. He pulled his covers over his head and turned away from her.
Karyn frowned. She pulled the covers back, much to Jon's annoyance, and grabbed part of his body to try and shake him awake.
But when she tried to remove her hand, it remained where it was. "What the ...?" She pulled as hard as she could, but it was like her hand was stuck to Jon's body. Her eyes went wide. Would she have to go through the entire day with her hand stuck to Jon's ...
