Thankfully, the pair didn't have to wait too long for the burrito to arrive.
"Do you want me to cut it for you?" Ludita inquired, her girlfriend's gaze already on the meal. Far larger than the picture really gave credit for, this would be quite a challenge to get through. But Ludita had to know that before suggesting in the first place... right? She didn't seem like the person to just lead people along.
"Yes, actually." Annita answered and pushed the plate over to her girlfriend's side. There, Ludita got to work sawing the burrito in half. Something satisfying in watch her hack at it. In a cute way, of course.
"Here you go."
Placing half of the burrito onto an extra plate, Ludita handed it over to Annita. After, it was time to dig in. While Annita wasn't used to eating this much for lunch, that wasn't going to stop her from trying. If she was lucky, this would be a cinch. Of course, reality turned out to be less than ideal. Only making it partway through the massive burrito, she was really hoping this restaurant did take-out.
Yet, Annita let her gaze return to her girlfriend. While Ludita was doing better, it wasn't by much at the moment.
"Did you enjoy it, at least?" Annita remarked and got a smile from Ludita. The server came back over, bringing with her the bill and a set of take-out containers.
"I did. Thanks for coming with me." Ludita answered, Annita's cheeks glowing red. "Maybe we can do this in the future?
Her words rolled out.
"Absolutely." Annita answered and boxed up her meal. Paying for half, she was off for home.
