The actual walk to church was uneventful for Annita. She had kind of hoped to at least run into Ludia, but that was apparently asking for too much right now.
Yet as she passed through the doors, there she found her. Dressed in a different house dress for today, the other details still the same. Didn't stop Annita's heart from skipping a beat.
"There you are." Ludia greeted and watched Annita walk up. A hug followed, Annita's now much more blubbery body bouncing about. "Oh my. Someone blossomed out."
Annita's cheeks turned pink, looking away for a moment. Glad as she was for someone to notice this new part of her, to hear that comment from Ludia made it all the better.
"Uh... Want to go somewhere after this?" she suggested, focusing back on Ludia for the moment. While caught by surprise from her question, a nod followed. Wait. Did this make such an outing a... date? Had to.
The actual service was pretty slow for both women. The anticipation for the date hung tightly in the air, each passing second seeming to last an eternity.
But eventually, things did let up.
"Let's go." Ludia explained and grabbed hold of Annita's hand and headed off.
