After seeing how much time he had left, Jon breathed a sigh of relief as he looked over the test again to see that there was just a quarter of it remaining which would give him plenty of time to finish and then some which made him smile, making sure to show off his movie star quality teeth that he hated hiding behind his pouty, full, cupid's bow shaped lips. The fact that his lips looked nothing like that just a few short seconds ago didn't faze him in the least.
With his focus back on the task at hand, he went to continue filling out the test, answering the questions with ease that he didn't possess before nor remembered not having. As his hand skillfully penned the answers, the nails that he had bit down began to slowly start growing back reaching just below his fingertips and they still had a ways to go.
Jon finally finished the last question and looked up at the clock to see that he had ten minutes left before the end of class. He then turned his test over on his desk as Mr. Halloran had always instructed them to do that upon completing tests. With that out of the way, he began to relax in his seat and wait for the rest of the class to finish up. A small strand of hair fell right on his eyelid and he brushed it away instinctively.
"Seven minutes left. Regardless of wether you've completed it or not, please bring your test up to my desk before you leave class." Mr. Halloran instructed before going back to grading the homework assignments the class had turned in when they came in at the beginning of the period.
Jon was beginning to get a bit anxious as he watched the seconds slowly tick by on the clock and he tried to figure out something he could do to pass the time until class was over.
