The only other weird thing Jon noticed that day at school was when he saw Ms. Reynols - the real Ms. Reynolds - during lunchtime. She was dressed in Biff's baggy jeans and varsity jacket. But, Jon reasoned, if Biff was in Ms. Reynolds' place, then she needed to be somewhere, so it wasn't so weird. If he hadn't been so concerned about the missing stone, he might've laughed at the idea of a hot teacher dressing like the school bully as being 'not so weird.'
By the time the final bell rang, he still hadn't found the stone. He didn't dare tell Karyn, even though she was anxious about trying to fix her hair and boobs. Jon had just made some excuse about leaving the stone safely at home. As he was leaving school, Jon passed by Ms. Reynolds classroom. Biff stuck his head out, and Jon tried to suppress any reaction he might have to seeing his nemesis all dolled up.
"Any luck, Jon?" he asked with genuine concern. Jon just shrugged and shook his head. "Well, I'll keep an eye out. Listen," he said, looking slightly embarrassed, "I wouldn't normally do this, but take this." She handed Jon a folded up piece of paper. "It's my phone number. I want to help you find that stone. I'm actually pursuing a Master's in Archaeology at State University. If you do find that stone, I think it's something I'd like to study. If you need any help, let me know."
Jon just nodded and the two waved goodbye. He looked at the note in his hand. He had just gotten the home phone number of the hottest teacher in the school! Unfortunately, she was not currently what Jon would consider hot. He stuck the note in his pocket and headed home, trying to sort out the weird mix of emotions he was feeling.
