After a few seconds, Jon let go of his head and looked up at Karyn. Then he said "Who are you?"
Karyn's mouth dropped open.
Jon looked around. "What is this place? Some sort of school?"
What had she done? Jon's mind had changed so much that he was now essentially another person.
"Hey, I'm talking to you," Jon said, getting irritated.
"Sorry. Uh ... my name is Karyn. Do you remember? Please, try to remember." There had to be something left of her friend in there.
