"Hey Karyn how is it going." Karyn said as she answered Jon phone with a smile on her lips. Karyn we have to find a way to end this wish of yours now." Jon demanded down the phone line to Karyn. "Why what's wrong Karyn? Not liking the easy life anymore?" Karyn replied trying to stop herself from laughing. "Your mom has just told me that I/ You have a wedding to go to this weekend as a bridesmaid" Jon told her trying to make sure that he didn't raise his voice loud enough for anyone in Karyn's house to hear him.
"What?" Karyn asked Jon. "Your cousin Cassie's wedding on Saturday and you are supposed to be a bridesmaid at it." Jon answered her. "I had forgotten all about that. I'm sorry Jon I really am" She told him. "There must be a way to fix this" Jon replied in a slightly more reasonable tone. "Jon you know as well as I do we cannot stop a wish once it has been wished." Karyn told Jon. "I am afraid you are going to have to go to Cassie's wedding in my place. Karyn went on to tell him.
"But Karyn." Jon started to reply. But at that moment the door to the Madison house opened and Jon's Mom walked through it. "Ah Jon could you put the kettle on for me please? I have had a really long day at work." Linda Madison asked "her son. "Sorry Karyn I have to go. I will see you tomorrow at school". Karyn said down the phone line to Jon before hanging up on the call. Once she had ended the call she went to the kitchen to make her temporary Mom a coffee.
