The next day Karyn walked up to Jon with a big smile on her face.
"Hey Jon, did you bring the stone?" she asked.
"Of course" he replied. "what's with the big grin, you look like the cat who ate the canary."
"Give me the stone and I will tell you", Karyn replied.
Karyn took the stone from Jon's hand and said. "I hope you don't mind this, but i am going to perform an experiment. Don't worry their will be a time limit. I am going to try installing a new module in your mind."
"A WHAT!" Jon said in shock. "I don't want to be brainwashed."
"no, it's not like that", karyn said. "I just want to add the feelings, memories, and personality of someone else to your own."
"I don't want to think I am someone else, or to have a swapped body or personality or whatever" Jon said with disgust.
"I won't REPLACE anything", Karyn explained, "Instead I will add to whatever is already their. It's like upgrading a computer program, what was their before will remain, just new options get added to the mix."
"But won't it be freakish having someone elses emotions and urges added to my own? it'd feel strange and alien, it'd be disturbing."
"I planned for that too" Karyn said. "You will not be able to tell the new feelings and memories from your own. Besides it's not an overwrite of your own feelings, just new data being added to the mix. Asi said consider it like a computer upgrade that adds new features to what already exists."
Karyn then held the stone tight and said. "I wish that for the next two weeks Jon would have the feelings, memories, and personality of someone else of my choosing added to his own and be unable to tell which ones are his and which ones are the new ones. The person Jon will get the memories, feelings, and personality of is..."
