Jon reached for the stone in Karyn's hand. But Karyn dropped it to the floor before Jon could reach it.
Can't let you do that Jon, not yet anyway.
"Wait, who said that?" jumped Jon in confusion.
Oops. Uh... Hi?
"It's the narrator" Karyn pointed out.
"Give us our free will back" shouted Jon, toward the ceiling.
Jon, I'm not in the ceiling, I'm not anywhere in your world. Well... technically speaking.
And I can't just give you free will, do you have any idea how hard that is to write? I'd need to know what you were thinking, without my own mind chosing what you say.
You try just creating someone who can think freely, who lives inside your brain, but isn't you.
"Wow..." paused Jon.
See. It's not easy.
"Well why don't I just wish you down here." said Jon, quickly picking up the stone from the floor.
Jon, firstly, I'm not 'up' anywhere. Secondly, I don't know what that'd accomplish.
"Well there's no harm in trying" smirked Jon
