As they entered the mall, Jon held the stone in his pocket. Mikey took off running to find his friend, "See ya, sister!" he called.
He and Karyn walked along, Jon noticed that the little figures on the mens and womens bathrooms had been switched, and that the signs in the clothing stores were the opposite. Everyone looked the same though, but once in a while he'd hear changes in conversation. A little girl was trying on a dress and her grandma told her how "handsome he looked" in it, and not too far away a little boy was trying on a suit and his mother referred to how "pretty" it was.
Jon walked along with Karyn, thinking hard about his next wish. He found the mixing up of the genders humorous and decided to continue the trend. He excused himself to the bathroom to make the wish in private so Karyn wouldn't hear. He stepped into a stall, closed the door, and gripped the rock in his hand.
"I wish that mens and womens underwear would switch." he whispered.
There was a flash, Jon felt a change in his pants. He pulled them down to reveal that he was wearing white silk panties with lace around the waistband. He also realized he was wearing a matching bra. He wasn't expecting that, but he supposed since bras were underwear they were now worn by the men, who thanks to his previous wish were now referred to as women. This was getting confusing, he thought. He left the bathroom to investigate the changes.
He saw Biff Meadows and some of his football buddies walk by, and he could see Biff's pink thong riding up above his pants. They were also all obviously wearing bras, despite not having breasts. They walked over to a group of popular girls, and he could see the top of some boxer shorts worn under her mini skirt. They girls were all obviously braless.
"Hey, girl, you ready?" asked Karyn. It took Jon a second to respond as he was still not used to being referred to as a girl.
As they walked along, Jon began to notice something strange. Although he didn't think that changing underwear would've made a huge difference in the world, it seemed as if the men were walking and acting more feminine, and the women were more masculine. Usually when Karyn walked her hips and ass swayed, but now he noticed as he walked behind her, she had more of the stroll of an average guy. He decided to ask her some questions, making sure to remember that all gender terms had been reversed.
"Karyn, why do you think women wear bras and men don't?"
"What kind of question is that? Women wear bras because they're made for women to wear."
"But men are the ones with breasts. Wouldn't it make more since for men to wear them since they need the support?"
"I never thought of that." said Karyn, confused. "I guess, but you wouldn't catch me wearing one, even after I accidentally wished for larger breasts. Everyone would think I was gay."
Jon wondered what he should change next...
