"Now I wish that the dollhouse didn't witch bodies with dolls, but instead sent the dolls to Toyland, where they can be cute little toys, Forever." Karyn said loudly enough to be heard by the dolls at floor level, hissing the final word.
"That's not even fair!" Gwen protested, yelling up to the giant.
"Boo hoo, so sad." Came the reply as the stone began to glow.
"Wow, and people call me a bitch." Sarah muttered rolling her glass eyes at the sneering giant before her. However their sight suddenly seemed to become hazy as Karyn and the room faded into black.
The world turned from black, to white, to every color in-between, a kaleidoscope of colors and eventually sound. Them just as suddenly as it began, it ended. Gwen was standing, looking at Sarah, just as she had been before, but the scenery was all wrong. There were now trees on either side of them, But not normal trees, these trees seemed to be made out of brands of different colors, winding together to make a multi-hued tree. There were no leaves to speak of, but they hardly appeared any less full for it. Looking around she realized they were now in the middle of a forest of multicolored trees, with bushes made out of clusters of marbles.
"I've lost it. I've gone insane." Sarah said aloud to herself as she looked around.
"No, we're just in Toyland, we just have to figure out a way back."
"Right, because I'm sure they put emergency exits every hundred feet or so along the road." Sarah replied sarcastically pointing to a yellow Lego brick road.
"Well, that's a start." Gwen said heading in that direction, after a few seconds Sarah followed. Walking along Gwen realized they the two of them couldn't be more the opposite. She was walking along as a brisk pace, cotton knees allowing a wide range of movement and freedom, while behind her Sarah shuffled along on knees that didn't want to bend unless she took the time to focus on them, which didn't make for a very fast pace. Thus she wobbled more than walked, key clicking in time to her movements.
After fifteen minutes of walking, shuffling in Sarah's case they came across a small clearing where the road split in two directions. Nearing the sign at the fork Gwen read aloud to the wind-up doll that was still catching up. "Looks like our choices are UToypia or The Porcelain Village. Each is apparently equal distance away, whatever 1.5 means."
"I couldn't really care less, so long as I get out of this body. " She replied finally coming to a rest. "You choose Mrs. Witch."
"Alright, I choose . . .
