"What the?" Jon exclaimed looking at the number 2 etched into his hand"I wish I knew what was going on"
The pain returned and when Jon looked at his hand the 2 had turned into a 1. Jon was curious what would happen if he made one more wish so he said "I wish Karyn was here"
In addition to the pain in his hand he felt the familiar need to turn away. When he looked back his car tires where blue, Karyn was next to him and he knew how the stone worked now and his hand was healed
Karyn now thanks to the wish thought she'd been there the whole time.
"So what happened?" Karyn asked
"The stone changed it now grants wishes, but only on every third wish" Jon replied
"But you only made two wishes" Karyn exclaimed
"I wished you here" Jon said.
"But I remember.." Karyn said "Wow that's unnerving"
