Jen looked a bit doubtful "Maybe I could give it an hour or so, but I...KARYN!"
Before her eyes, Karyn was rapidly dwindling in size. She had halved her size in seconds and as she shrank her limbs began to lose their definition, pulling into her body.
As she shrank other changes took hold, her skin took on a familiar pink rubbery appearance and the texture of her clothes took on a papery quality. Pink lettering began to flow over them.
Karyn opened her mouth to scream, but all that emerged was a large pink bubble which grew as she silently howled, then popped suddenly and silently sank back into her still open mouth.
Jen desperately scrabbled for the Stone, but it was much too late. An ill worded wish had been made and the Stone had lept at the chance and mis-interpreted it with glee.
On the bed where seconds ago his best friend had been sitting, there was a small rectangular packet of chewing gum with the word Karyn cheerfully emblazoned on the pink paper wrapper.
The smell if strawberries filled the room.
