Chloe pulled one of the candies from the envelope and inspected it. She proceeded to pop it into her mouth and swallow it.
"Huh. It's creamy, but the inside is dry and sugary. It's like sugar string. You should try a piece, it's really good!"
"No, thanks," replied Joanna. "I'm not very hungry for candy this early. You can take a few if you want, though."
"Thanks, but just a couple. It's your candy, after all."
"No problem at all. There are plenty to go around," she said as she placed about five more of the candies into Chloe's palm. "Besides, I was never a big candy person."
