It sounded amazing, but Joanna had to be sure it would actually work. She darted down the hallway into her bedroom where her full-length mirror was. She quickly stripped off her clothes, tossing them onto the floor, and kicked off her shoes. The plain, boring human girl who stared back at her from the mirror was not going to be plain or boring for very much longer!
And then Joanna paused. Assuming this worked — what should she do with it? Something big? Something small and subtle, like just fixing her nose a little, making her breasts a little bigger, or making her ears a little more pointy? Or should she go the whole nine yards and prove it really works by turning herself into something big and impossible like a unicorn or a dragon?
Time was wasting, and she was itching to do something, but she couldn't make up her mind.
