"Ok", Jon started, "Don't forget, I told you this was going to be very hard to pull off"
Sarah nodded, "I know", she replied, "tell me what the problem is, and I can help you figure out how to reverse it"
Jon explained to Sarah the rules of the stone, how wishes could not be reversed once they were made. Sarah didn't understand exactly what was keeping Jon from simply wishing her legs back to the arms and legs they used to be until he explained that the phrasing of his wish was quite explicit in what was to be changed, leaving no room for manoeuvring.
"So that's basically it, I can't change your arms and legs anymore", Jon said, "You're stuck with them"
"But what about your swapping power, you swapped your body with mine and reversed it!" Sarah said.
"My swapping power is not the same as the wishing stone, it was given to me by the stone, but I wished for the ability to reverse it at will", Jon explained.
"So my limbs can change back then", Sarah answered, "Just not by using the stone"
"What do you have in mind?" Jon asked.
"Swap my limbs with someone else", Sarah suggested, "then wish them to be normal, and give me back my limbs again"
"That could work", Jon said surprised, "Wow, you really are smarter then you let on", he commented.
Sarah blushed a little, "I am not the dumb cheerleader that most people make me out to be you know, in the McMillan family empire, you are either smart or disowned. Doesn't give me much leeway"
Jon nodded, "Ah, ok", as if that was explanation enough.
Jon sat there and thought for a moment, he really couldn't argue with he logic, but who was he going to swap the limbs with, and he wasn't even sure if the damned stone would even work like that, he hadn't had a chance to test it and didn't work, whoever he swapped her limbs with would be stuck that way. It really was Sarah's fault that she was like this, but Jon couldn't help but feel guilty about it. But suddenly, something else sprang to mind.
"Hang on", Jon said, "I have an idea"
"Spill", Sarah replied.
Jon explained, "The wishes can't be reversed, but they can stack!"
"What do you mean?" Sarah asked.
"Well, we can't wish your limbs to go back to being human, but we CAN change the conditions of your wish, we could make your limbs only turn into dog limbs when exposed to water, or at certain times of day, that kinda stuff. We're not reversing your wish; we're just adding more conditions to it!"
"I like that", Sarah replied, "But what kind of conditions?"
Jon scratched his head, "Well, I don't know, I mean, it really depends on what you're comfortable with, I suppose we could say 'once every 1000 years for 30 seconds' and you'd never have to have dog legs again"
"Well", Sarah said, "If we can stop it from being permanent, there's no reason why we can't give me more control over it"
"Like?" Jon asked.
"We could make it so that when I'm aroused, my human limbs become dog limbs?" Sarah suggested, "Would that work?"
"I suppose, but every time you get a sexy thought or you brush yourself the wrong way, it'll instantly make you a dog-girl again", Jon responded.
"Oh yea", Sarah said, "I suppose. Well what about giving me control over it then?" she suggested, "Let me control when I change, consciously "
"Yea, why not?" Jon replied, silently smirking to himself, "I guess that'd work, and you'd get what you wanted anyway"
Sarah nodded.
"Alrighty then", Jon replied, looking at Sarah.
Jon went over to his cupboard and opened the top drawer of his dresser, he removed the rock and sat back down with Sarah, "I wish that Sarah's dog limbs could transform into human limbs and back again when she concentrates on them", Jon said.
The rock glowed in his hands, "Wow, it's working", Jon said.
Sarah didn't see what the rock was telling Jon, it was a stupid ol' rock to her, but she trusted him about it.
"Ok, now what?" Sarah asked.
"Try changing your shape", Jon replied.
Sarah concentrated on her human limbs, in her minds eye, she could see herself as a normal girl again, there was a tingling in her limbs, Sarah watched her arms as they transformed, the blonde hair receding into the flesh, and the arms gaining muscle tone and definition, not to mention density as they reformed. Sarah saw her paw stubbles extend out into long slender fingers, the same fingers that she had only a few days ago.
In a few seconds, she was completely human again.
In an instant, Jon's hand completely changed, no longer was it the black polished fingers of his sister pointing at Sarah but the blonde hairy legs that used to belong to Sarah. At the same time, Sarah found that her limbs were human again; she stood up in surprise and looked herself over, hugging herself with her new limbs.
"Thanks you Jon", she said excitedly, before leaning over and grabbing him around the waist, she pulled him towards her and planted a kiss on his lips, "Thank you so much for doing this!"
Jon returned the kiss, blushing the whole while; Sarah released Jon a stunned Jon and watched him try to conceal his embarrassment. Sarah looked down and found that her legs were completely human again too, albeit, completely shoeless.
Jon just watched Sarah feel herself up, as if it was the first time she had ever done so, "At least my little treasure trove is still enhanced", she said wistfully, "I can't thank you enough for doing this Jon"
"My pleasure", Jon replied.
Sarah grabbed Jon by his left hand and pulled it closer to her, "When you get over her, come find me", she said softly, looking into his eyes. Nothing needed to be said as to whom she was referring to, but Jon was surprised that Sarah was propositioning him!
He watched as Sarah left his room with what were her original arms and legs, passing Zoe in the hallway. Jon looked down at the hand Sarah had been holding, thinking all the while.
Did Sarah just ask me out? Jon thought to himself.
