Karyn was just about to go to sleep when she got a notification on her phone. It said "New App Installed". She thought that was strange as she hadn't installed anything. She unlocked her phone and saw a new icon for an app call "in Control". Karyn was curious so she opened it up. It looked very slick and she had to swipe through some information to begin with.
The features the app promised made Karyn suspect the stone being the cause as what it was claiming was pretty crazy. It was an app that would her to select one person as the subject and make one change to them every day. The changes would only last until the person slept and then she could make a new change the next day. There were various other options, like making the subject aware or changing reality so everyone thought the changes had always been that way.
Karyn came to the end of information and saw a box asking her to input the subjects name. She didn't have to think twice before entering "Jon Gibson". She didn't know if he was aware of this app but she wasn't going to tell him about it just yet. And in the meantime she could have some fun with him. After entering Jon's name the main screen came up. It had various stats about Jon as well as a large text box titled "Current Changes" but as she hadn't done anything this box was blank.
Karyn thought for a while about what changes to make to Jon for tomorrow before typing into the box and hitting the big button at the bottom to save the changes. She double checked everything and saw the "Current Changes" box had changed to read....
