"Really? What does it do?" Jon asked.
Sarah suddenly wondered if she should tell him. Yes, he was her cousin, but lately she was actually trusting her friends more than her family. Perhaps it had something to do with being at the top of the totem pole (so to speak). She never craved power or recognition, but that's what she eventually got. And she didn't think she could go back to how things used to be. She supposed she was just too used to it.
