The next couple days passed far faster than Carla was expecting them too. While most of the blindness brought on by the glasses was gone, there was still a bit from time to time. Ironically, the grandmother found she couldn't see anything without them.
"This should be the one." Carla thought and pulled out a cyan floral evening dress. She didn't know where it had come from, but the grandmother was glad that she found it. Pairing it with a matching pair of open-toe heels that showcased her pantyhosed-covered legs perfectly, the girdle underneath would work perfectly for holding that stuff. Looking into the mirror, locks of gray had proudly invaded her locks of brunette hair. While she could easily fix that, something about it felt right to Carla. Especially with her face all done up like the old lady she knew herself to be. Wrinkles somehow even more pronounced than before, she was really feeling her age. Especially with the pearl earrings and string necklace that finished her look off. "Perfect."
Heading for the door, Carla confidently walked out into the hallway. Waiting a moment, the sound of heels clicking against the floor echoed her way. Gazing in that direction, she could make out Elizabeth. Dressed in a daring black evening dress, she was very much setting off all of the right bells for Carla.
"Oh my. Someone is really showing off here." Elizabeth cooed and watched Carla's face turn red. Getting just a moment to compose herself, that was all Elizabeth needed to grab her hand. Pulling her towards a part of the nursing home that she didn't recognize. It looked to be some kind of courtyard of sorts. "I know this isn't the most fancy of places, but it's intimate enough that I don't think that anyone might attempt to invade our space."
Carla let out a chuckle.
"I'm happy to hear that." she announced and just a caught a glimpse of a set of plates. Stacked up with scrumptious food, could she really eat it all? Probably. Especially if she had Elizabeth around to help her.
