As it would turn out, making the initial appointments for the plastic surgeon was surprisingly easy. It didn't even take that much money too, a welcome bonus in this situation.
"Are you ready to do this, Carla?" May called out and watched the mother-to-be walk over. Dressed in the same outfit as before, a shopping trip for motherly clothes was definitely in order. But that could come after all the surgeries had been completed and she figured out what kind of colors and patterns Carla liked. Yeah. That was definitely for the best.
"Yep, dear." Carla announced, her motherly voice on point here. Even with all her practice, it still felt a touch forced. Perhaps the surgeon would work their magic and make it a cinch. Or at least, that was how she hoped it would go. The last thing either mother-to-be or coordinator needed was something to go wrong.
Nonetheless, she pushed those thoughts from her head and made her way over to the door. May followed right behind, taking the time to open the door. Outside, Littleroot Town was just how it was before. For today's excursion, the pair would be heading to the far end of town.
Thankfully, the walk there was relative brief.
"You are aware that it'll be a couple weeks before I'll be able to see you again?" May continued and Carla nodded. While the thought was terrifying, she just needed to power through.
Heading into the plastic surgery building, it was a cinch for Carla to get checked in and ready for her appointment. Thankfully, she didn't need to wait very long for the surgeon to come out.
"Best of luck!" May announced and watched the mother-to-be step through.
