Leading Carla out of the walk-in closet, May shifted her focus over to a vanity. Sitting Carla down in front of there, she dug into the drawers.
"Hold still, Carla." May barked and got a thumbs-up from her 'mother'. Tempted as she was to look directly into the mirror, she was going to need to trust her daughter on this the entire way. That would be what the actual Caroline would be doing currently. For now, she started with a makeup palette. Doing her best to work on Carla's face, even in the face of not having a mirror to work with currently. But she had seen her mother's face enough times to know what it looked like and the makeup used. Just a little foundation, a touch of pink for the lips and maybe a bit of eyeliner to accentuate the eyes.
Reaching down into the drawers once more, out came a set of contacts. Meant to match that of Caroline's eyes, May slowly raised them to the mother's eyes. Still holding still, they were a cinch to insert. Even if her subject was getting really tempted to fidget about at this point.
"Can I look now?" Carla inquired and looked at her 'daughter'. Getting a head shake, May pulled out a hairbrush. Pushing it through Carla's spiky locks, the coordinator watched the hairs smooth out. Tempted as she was to go and find the hair dye, that was better left to the professionals. Right now, she would just get Caroline's hairstyle all done up. Bringing out the comb, she got to straightening out Carla's hair until it looked somewhat similar.
"One more thing." May continued and looked back to the drawers. There, a pair of pink ball earrings sat. Clip-ons, they should be able to fit in place of a more traditional set. Placing them on Carla's ears, she let out a little yip. But outside of that, she was good. "You can turn around now."
Carla nodded and turned to the mirror. A feminine boy trying to emulate Caroline. She still had a long way to go, but that was something they would work on going forward.
