(Author's Note: I'm assuming that in his grandfather's letter, it was supposed to say that wishes couldn't be reversed.)
Mikey spent that night staring out the window, wondering about many things.
A part of him was scared, and sad. Here he was on top of something people only dreamed about, and he had the opportunity to live those dreams, or nightmares.
His grandfather had this power, and now he was gone. How did it really happen? His mind drifted back to the coin, hidden safely under the bed. Was it involved? Did things somehow get way too far out of hand?
Pushing those thoughts out of his head, Mikey wondered what he'd wish for once he met up with Tommy again.
He had always wanted to know what it was like to fly, or to be rich or adored. He cut his thoughts off, as he saw the direction they were leading in.
Sure, he had the power to fulfill all those dreams, but he had to draw a line, right?
Troubling thoughts passed through his mind, haunting him in the twilight hours, but eventually at some point, he felt sleep greet him.
Tommy shifted around in the bed uncomfortably. He just wasn't used to this new female body. He could constantly feel the small breasts growing on his chest and the void between his legs. It all just seemed so unnatural. All night he cursed himself for making that stupid wish.
And make matters worse, everyone but Mikey thought that he was really a girl. A girl named Tomi. At least it sounded like his real name, but it didn't seem like much of a consolation.
When he wasn't squirming, he was thinking. Thinking about using that magic coin again. He read the letter, so he knew that only three wishes could be made every twelve hours. He just hoped that Mikey would refrain from making any wishes until he had a chance to try to return himself to normal. He didn't want to stay as a girl any longer than he needed to.
"Ugh," he groaned, hearing his new female voice once again. He really hoped that he could find a way to reverse this.
As Tommy slipped into unconsciousness, fear overtook him. He really didn't want to stay as a girl forever.
