Even with the family as it was, Caroline could still see room for improvement. More specifically in her son - Max. For some reason, thoughts of him had hung over her mind since the family reunion. Heck, she could use a similar method to the one she used on Carol.
"Do you really think he'll take the bait?" Carol remarked and got a deep breath from her sister. Even with both children now accepting Deborah as their mother, this change could throw it all off-kilter.
"Hopefully." Caroline answered, looking over to Max's door. Tempting as it would be to make another sister, she instead had something else in mind here - a girl ready to get out in the world and explore. Just girly enough to go housewife, but still boy enough that the girls would check them out. Hopefully the provided clothes would do the job.
"Mom, can you call me Cara?" a voice called out, Max making his way over. But instead of being dressed in his normal clothes, he was rocking a pink blouse with matching poodle skirt and short rockabilly heels. While his hair had been left untouched, he had taken the time to paint his nails.
"Of course, dear." Caroline answered and rubbed her hand about Cara's head. A smile formed on her future's daughter face. Yes, this would work nicely.
