Deborah's eyes shot open.
For the moment, both of her daughters were standing right before her bed. The doctor was currently out of the room, leaving just the trio to talk for the moment.
"So, how do you feel now?" Caroline inquired, Deborah perking up. Sitting in her bed, everything felt... right now. Like some piece of her now fit a mold that she hadn't thought to be possible in the first place.
"A lot better, actually." Deborah explained, smiles forming on both of her daughter's faces. "How much longer must I spend in this place?"
Carol's gaze shot over to her sister. While Deborah was probably stable for the moment, there was still some things that were not quite concrete.
"Probably not much longer, dear." Caroline explained, getting a nod from Deborah in return. Everything was going the way she had hoped. Now, it was time to take things to the next level...
