'Delia' opened her eyes.
For the moment, she was laying in a hospital. Bandages seemed to cover every part of her body and everything felt... numb currently. Like her whole body was on pins and needles.
Before Delia could look any further though, what appeared to be a doctor walked in and took a seat.
"Good morning, Ms Maple." he greeted and watched Delia look over. "Easy there. You've been out for a couple of days. Not that you be even to recognize yourself."
His words roll on out, bringing out a mirror. Holding it out for the mother to see, she couldn't believe her eyes.
Brunette hair had been dyed a silverish gray, with a set of blue eyes staring back at her. Even then, her whole face looks quite a bit older than she was before.
"This can't be..." Delia announced, pushing the mirror away for the moment. There had to be some mistake that occurred for her to be here.
"Deborah!"
