"Why are you even taking a vacation, Karyn? We just had spring vacation a week ago," Jon said.
"Yeah, but that was a trip to the mountains. This is a real vacation," she said. "My dad won a trip to Hawaii and he's taking me and my mom with too."
"Hawaii? How come you didn't tell me this before?"
"I'm telling you now. I won't be leaving for another day or so anyway. That means we'll have plenty of time to figure out the wish."
"Well, I'm not going to let you turn me into a girl. That's for sure," Jon said.
Karyn sighed. This was going to be harder than she thought.
