Before Jon could make his wish, Marie made a lunge for the stone. She managed to get her hands on it, and Jon immediately tried to pry it away from her.
"I wish Jon and I would swap bodies!" Marie managed to say quickly while still grasping the stone.
Jon hardly had time to register what his former sister has done before he found himself being pinned to the ground by his own body.
"What have you done!?" Jon fumed, unused to the sound of HER new voice.
"I'm sorry, Jon," her former body explained, "but I just couldn't go through life like that. I had to do something!"
"Let me up!" Jon demanded, "If you give me the stone, maybe I can fix this!"
"I can't trust you with it right now. You'll just try to take your body back!"
With that, the former Mikey/Marie shifted so that his legs rather than his arms were pinning Marie to the ground. He then used one hand to cover Jon's mouth so she couldn't interrupt him, while the other reached for the stone which had landed only a foot or two away in the struggle from moments ago.
"I guess I need to fix a few things for this to work," he mused as he examined the stone.
After a moment's thought, Mikey said, "I wish..."
