In his mad dash to leave his room, Jon accidentally bumped into his little brother Mikey and immediately swapped ages with him.
In a matter of seconds, Jon lost seven years and became ten years old and Mikey gained seven years and became seventeen years old. Since there was such a change in age, Mikey looked considerably different. He looked similar to Jon, since there was a family resemblance, but there were enough differences to tell them apart. And Jon looked exactly the way he did seven years ago when he was ten, except for the clothes he was wearing, which looked similar to what Mikey was wearing before the age swap - a digimon T-shirt and jeans.
"Watch where you're going, Jonny," his brother (now big brother) said, as he walked into his bedroom.
As Jon walked back into his own bedroom, he thought about what had happened. Yes, he was physically seven years younger, but reality had changed so that he was supposed to be that way, meaning he was now in elementary school instead of high school. Was he still friends with Karyn? Being so young, he probably wasn't. He probably had friends his age. But who were they?
As he pondered these things, he watched as the sky returned to its normal color.
