Mikey looked up at Karyn with a smile and said "I'm glad you're seeing it my way, Karyn. But I'd rather be sure. Under the influence of the ring, there will be no doubt."
Karyn suddenly got scared. Her plan of deceit didn't work. Even though he was so young, Mikey saw right through it.
He moved the ring towards her.
"Jon, help me!" she yelled. But he just sat there with this dumb look of admiration on his face. Was that what would become of Karyn?
"Jon, can't help you, Karyn," Mikey said. "He's mine."
"Help!" Karyn yelled, as the ring came even closer.
