"I wish that Mikey could not touch anybody with his magic ring," Karyn quickly said.
There was a brief flash of light that caused Mikey to start. He knew that magic was real because of the ring, but it had no flashy effects and the flash caught him off gaurd.
He reached out the ring towards Karyn and found himself stopping short of her body. Mikey looked at the ring with confusion and tried again. It seemed that he could not bring himself to touch Karyn with the ring. "Hey, that's not fair!" Mikey whined.
"Not fair is turning someone into a slave," Karyn replied cooly. "Now to see about undoing what you did to Jon and Mrs. Warren. I wish..."
