"Come on, Jon," Karyn said. "Snap out of it!"
Jon grabbed his head and looked around. "Wha ... Mikey! You used the ring on me?!"
Mikey looked stunned. He didn't think that anything could reverse the effects of the ring. But he now supposed that the sudden shock of getting slugged in the face dislodged Jon from the magical hold Mikey had on him.
He hoped something like that wouldn't happen to Ms. Warren. If she ever realized what he had done to her ... well, it just wouldn't be good, for Mikey.
