Derek stared down at the stone. Just to be sure, he made a wish to know what that emo kid was talking about, to see how he knew about the stone. Well, he got his answer. Although, really, he rather would have been kept in the dark.
According to the wishing stone, Jon and Derek switched lives not ten minutes ago. Derek was shocked to learn that he was supposed to be an emo and not Jon. He couldn't even imagine having such a screwed up life.
Derek stared down at the stone, wondering what he should do next. While he didn't think it was fair for someone to suddenly be forced to live a different life with a different family, he didn't want to switch back. He liked the Gibson family. It was the only one he ever knew. But what about Jon? Would he need to make a wish to erase his memory of the stone perhaps? That seemed cruel.
According to the wishing stone, Jon was the rightful owner of the stone. Wouldn't it be nasty to remove all of that from his mind? Maybe there was a better, more fair, way to resolve this.
Derek stared down at the stone and thought about his options.
