"Jess?" Jon asked out loud, his eyes growing wide at the sound of his voice. Of her voice.
She looked down at herself and saw that it was true. She was a girl!
In a daze, she grabbed the keys that her mom left her, then opened the front door to leave. Standing next to the car was a Goth boy who looked to be Zoe's age. And he seemed a little pissed off.
"Come on, Jess," he said, impatiently. "Hurry the fuck up."
Jon (or Jess, rather) looked at the boy. Apparently, the stone had swapped their genders, but kept their ages the same. It was so weird seeing Zoe as a boy. But even as a boy, he was just as Goth as Zoe was. Jess wondered if he still had the same friends as Zoe did. Then she wondered if she had the same friends as Jon did. Was she friends with Karyn in this new reality?
