About fifteen minutes later, Jon finally showed up at Chesapeake Park ... with Zoe and her Goth friends (Athena, Zelda and Trevor).
"What are they doing here?" Karyn asked.
"My mom told me to bring them with me," Jon said. "She was in a hurry, so she didn't give me a chance to protest."
"Well, we can't use the stone with your sister and her friends around."
"Yeah, I know. But maybe we could use the stone to help with that. We could make them forget about anything wish-related."
"Do you have a wish in mind?" Karyn asked.
"Actually, I do," Jon said. He had been thinking about it for the last fifteen minutes.
