Karyn stood there for a moment, processing what she had just seen and heard. Something was up with Jon, and she didn't want to wait until second period (The bio class that she and Jon shared.) to try and get more information. "I think I should go find Zoe..." she said. With that, she headed into the school.

She knew that Zoë and her friends liked to hangout in the stairwell by the nurses office, so Karyn headed there. She got there about the same time that Zoë met up with Athena.

"Karyn, what are you doing hear?" Zoë asked.

"It's Jon, he's acting weird" Karyn said.

"I know, I think it's his ring" Zoë said.

"That's why Zoë had me bring my book on curse rings" Athena chimed in.

They opened the big old book and went thru until they found a page on *The Cured Rings of Dante.

**The cursed rings of Dante are seven powerful rings that imbue the wearers with one of the seven sins described as deadly in "Dantes Inferno." But as is true with the emotions they represent they are not necessarily negative. Every person has one of these "Sins" dominant to there personality and if the ring of that sin is placed on a person with that personality dominant it is easy for the wearer to embrace and focus the sin to the wearers advantage.

The rings cannot be removed by anyone, until the focus of the pride is conquered or death. If the ring is forcefully removed by force the sin of the wearer will be flooded into them permanently, if the ring is forcefully removed by magic the sin of the wearer will be drained from them permanently***

"Yellow is pride, that has to be it" Karyn said.

"Yeah that makes sense, I think your right" Zoë said.

"And from how Jon told me this began I think Pride is his Sin" Karyn said.

"That'll make things easier because from what you two have said he seems to be focusing it on his bet" Athena added
