He went to his dresser and reached up to open the top drawer. He stopped as he notched the small ring on his finger. It's yellow stone shone brightly as the light from the sun hit it. He grinned. He wasn't sure where the ring had come from, but it seemed only fitting that he, an example of human perfection, should have an object such as the ring. Just as, in four days, he would have a stone that was much more powerful than the one he currently possessed.
"After all, who better to wield ultimate power than I?" Jon said to himself.
Jon looked at the clock and saw he had plenty of time to get ready so he took a shower, after all he had to show pride in his appearance. Jon found it a little weird that surprising that Lucifer no Lucy didn't bother altering time.
"I guess he's knows he can't beat me, hansom" Jon said to his closet mirror As Jon got ready he sung to himself **The Devil went Down to Georgia".
Thru a portal Lucifer watched Jon, infuriated.
"I really** Hate **that kid" he said to a nearby minion.
"Devil just come on back if you ever want to try again. I told you once, you son of a bitch, I'm the best that's ever been." Jon sung as his phone rang.
"Jon are you alright I haven't heard from you since the day before yesterday" Karyn said franticly.
"No sweat Zoë and her friends helped me, but I'm shore I could of handled it myself" Jon said.
"Jon are you shore your alright, your not talking like yourself."
"I'm fine, once I beat** Lucy* It'll al be great"
"Last time I saw you, you where crying worried about losing your soul, and noe"
"Now I can take it, I'll beat him easy it's a matter of Pride" Jon said as he hung up
Jon then left his room to go get breakfast. In the kitchen he ran into Zoë eating a bowl of Trix, and as soon as Jon entered the dark aura caused zoe to vomit all over the floor.
