"Yeah, Jon doesn't have a dark side," Karyn said. "He's one of the nicest people I know."
"It doesn't matter what you think," Mathew said. "I know what you're capable of. And I'm not taking any chances." He held the stone up and said "I wish that the two people in front of me wouldn't be able to move or speak until I left this bedroom. Furthermore I wish that for as long as my last wish was active Jon Karyn and myself would be able to communicate telepathically"
"What are you doing I knew I couldn't trust you" Jon thought
"Relax" Mathew Said
"Keep cool Jon he has the stone" Karyn replied
"She's right you know I could just take this and leave but I'm not" Mathew thought
"Ok" Jon thought defeated
Mathew held the stone and started to make his wishes, it was a long list taken from many branches. He wished for Time travel, body part swapping, teleportation, shape shifting, and a pocked dimension to contain things he can always access. Then he wished for some unique things not in the story, The ability to copy anything he sees that would go to his new dimension, the ability to read the hearts of others, and the inability to be killed but leaving the ability to naturally die.
Mathew secretly made a copy of the stone which went into his pocket dimension, put the stone on the bed and thought "See I didn't harm you" Mathew thought to Jon. He then walked out of the room and Jon and Karyn where free to move.
"Just think about it Jon, you to Karyn the wish you would make if you only had one wish" With that Mathew was gone back to his own world to venture to different fictions. But would we follow him or stay with Jon thinking about what he had said about one wish
