Lannon marveled at the smells, the sights, the sounds of the bustling tavern known as The Cavalier's Den. Here, players from all across the world, represented by creatures of all makes, gathered together to plan out their quests in the endless world of Ether. But there was one player in particular that he was looking for, and we he found her, he was stunned.

Suzie, known as Hanna in this world, was even more drop dead gorgeous here than she was in real life. She was an elvish rogue, with long blonde hair, dressed in typical travelling gear for an elf, cloak, bow and arrow, knives to the side, right down to the pointy ears. She was taller than she was in real life, just as tall as Lannon was to be exact. And her figure, her figure was something any red-blooded man would kill for, and quite a few red-blooded lesbians as well. Hanna's figure was a tad more exaggerated than Suzie's, but Lannon certainly wasn't complaining.

Lannon approached Hanna, who turned to look at him. There was a brief moment before Lannon began, "Hello Suzie, or should I call you Hanna?"

"David!" Hanna exclaimed, and the elf hugged Lannon. Lannon/David was amazed at the fact that he could quite literally feel Hanna hugging him, as if she was there in the room right with him. They broke the embrace, and took a seat at a table.

"What do you think of the game so far.....Lannon." Apparently she had accessed his personal profile.

"It's more than I could have dreamed," Lannon admitted. "It all feels so real."

"I know what you mean," Hanna exclaimed. There was a brief moment of silence, before she continued.

"So, what do you want to do first? I've managed to catch wind of a few quests that sound like they're good for beginners like us."

"Cool, what are they?"

"Well, one involves travelling to the canyons of Deneb Maru. That's where all the Gargoyle NPC's live, some of them friendly, some not. We're supposed to get some gargoyle skin and bring it back to sell, it draws a real high price from higher level players who don't want to take the time to find some of their own."

"Sounds good, what else?"

"Well, we go to the beachhead just outside of town. There we catch a ferry ride to the Bell Islands, where we receive further instruction from someone named Jarrod."

"Hmmm....sounds a little vague, but intriguing, anything else?"

"Yep. We can go upgrade our weapons by seeking out the dwarven smith Muroc. That'd especially be good for you, your sword isn't going to do much damage against anything but the weakest creatures."

"I know, but it's all my mage character could carry. Anyway, anything else?"

"Well, the other choice is that we could just explore, just wander and see what comes our way. I don't really care what we do, so it's your call oh mighty Lannon."

Lannon thought for a moment the pluses and minuses of all the choices, when finally he perked up and said, "How about we...."
