"Do you know what this is all about?" Trevor asked Zelda and Sabrina, on their way towards the McMillan house. Stephanie was coming too, but she was a little late.
"No idea," Sabrina said. "But it better be fucking important. Zoe's call woke me up, just when I was having this dream about ..."
"Isn't that Sarah's house there?" Zelda asked, cutting Sabrina off. They stopped walking and looked at the giant house. It was almost like a small mansion. How could someone as bitchy as Sarah McMillan be so well off?
They walked up to the front door and Trevor knocked. A moment later, the door opened and Sarah came into view. She smiled.
"Why the fuck are you smiling, Sarah?" Sabrina spat.
"I'm not Sarah," she said.
"You could have fooled me," Trevor said.
"I think I just did. Welcome to your greatest fantasy, guys," Sarah said. "Watch." She turned and nodded to her left and a pair of arms wrapped around her body. A second later, they saw who was holding her. It was Sarah's mother. "I want my body back," Sarah said. And suddenly Zoe appeared out of nowhere right next to her.
"Zoe? Where the fuck did you come from?" Trevor asked, looking at her with wide eyes.
"Okay, I'm here. What's this all about?" Stephanie asked, walking towards them.
"Zoe just appeared from nowhere," Zelda said.
"No. Not from nowhere. I was in Sarah's body," Zoe said.
"What the hell is going on here?! Let go of me!" Sarah yelled, as she tried to squirm from her mother's grasp.
"Just touch someone else and say I WANT THAT BODY and you'll be in control of them. I made it so that any of us can do it," Zoe explained.
Sarah looked at Zoe, then winced as she grabbed her arm. She didn't quite believe that Zoe could do what she said (body possession was just fantasy, right?), but something strange was going on. She had gaps in her memory. She remembered running away, trying to find a way out of the house, and then the Goth girl grabbed her, said something, then suddenly Sarah was here, surrounded by all these disgusting Goths. If there was any truth to what Zoe was saying, then this was probably her only chance to get away. As disgusting as it was taking over a Goth girl's body, it couldn't have been worse than a Goth girl taking over her body, right? "I want that body," Sarah said. But nothing happened.
"You stupid bitch," her mother said. "It only works for me and my friends."
"That's Athena, by the way," Zoe said.
"Athena?" Zelda asked.
"Yeah, believe it or not," Sarah's mother (Susan) said.
"So, who wants to take Sarah's body?" Zoe asked. "Once inside her, you can do anything you want with her. Think of the possibilities."
Sarah turned and looked at the Goths, with worried eyes. In a moment, one of these disgusting vampire wannabes was going to be in control of her body ... and there was nothing she could do to stop them.
