As Jon and Karen learned how to use the stone to the benifit they only made minor changes that they could live with. But in the procces the stone was slowly changing their mindset from a happy go lucky kind of way to that of a tack over the wolrd type. Both Jon and Karen agreed that their lives would be easier if they were in charge.
