Jon's eyes shot open, as he breathed in deeply. What had happened? He looked around and saw that he was still in the sewer, but it seemed that he was somewhere else in the sewer, since the tunnel he was in was nowhere in sight.
There was only one entry into the "room" that he found himself in, so (thinking that it'd be best to get out of there) Jon started walking in that direction. But when he did, he noticed that his right leg was chained to the wall.
"What the hell?" He looked down at the chain and the old and rusty clamp that was attached to his leg. "How did I get chained up?"
But then he remembered the vampire. He blacked out in the water. Maybe the vampire saved him and brought him back here. But maybe Jon was being too optimistic. Vampires weren't known for their kindness. Jon must have been brought back for some other reason.
But whatever the reason, it would probably be best if Jon wasn't around when the vampire got back.
He grabbed the chain and yanked on it. It was old and rusty, so Jon hoped that it was also weak. And, as it turned out, it was.
He still had the metal clamp on his leg, but he'd just deal with that later, once he got out of these sewers.
Jon approached the entry to the room, but then stopped when he heard a heavy breathing sound, similar to the one he heard in the tunnel.
Was the vampire back?
