Linda sighed as she finished pouring a cup of coffee for her boss, Mr. Richards. She wasn't sure what it was, but today she just felt so... unfulfilled. Today her work just felt sort of worthless. She tried to take her mind off of things by filing some documents. That still wasn't enough, though. She wanted to do something a bit more meaningful. Something with numbers.
She thought back to her time in school. She had always done so well in her math classes. Even pre-calculus, with Ms. Dempsey. Linda smiled as she remembered sitting in the front row just to get a good view of her rear end - she always wore the most form-fitting skirts, and sweaters too. Sometimes Linda would have to put a book or something in her lap just to hide... hide... what, exactly?
"Linda, could you find me the Jones-Peters file?" her confusion was interrupted by Mr. Richards, "I need to go over a few things."
"Yes, sir," Linda went back to the filing cabinets, hoping the day would pass quickly.
