"Adventure? What kind of adventure. Is it possibly an adventure that involves the wishing stone?" Karyn said smiling. Ever since Jon had shown her the wishing stone that day she had been looking foward to a chance to use it again.
"In fact it does. We are going to undo the part that prevents us from undoing wishes. Come on I'll tell you everything on the way there." Jon said grabbing Karyn's hand and walking away.
"Wait where?" Karyn said breaking his grip.
"To Mexico. It turns out that it wasn't the Incans who made it. It was actually the Aztecs. Anyway we need to get going." Jon said.
"I can't just go to Mexico. My parents are home." Karyn said to Jon.
"So what just use the stone they will never know that you were gone." Jon said.
"Oh ya. Give it to me." Karyn said.
"That's what she said." Jon said laughing at his own joke.
Karyn punched him in the arm.
"Ow! Alright here you go." Jon said handing Karyn the rock.
Karyn took the rock and thought carefully how to word her wish so that nothing bad could happen. She was thinking back on the last wish she had made today and the extra weight on her chest served as a constant reminder.
"Alright I don't want to wish for them to not even realize I was gone and have a clone of myself created. Ummm how should I do this?" Karyn said thinking.
"Wait I got an even better idea. I wish that my parents will be ok with me going off to Mexico with Jon and they won't have any problems with it, BUT they will still care for me as much as they normally do, they will just trust me enough to do this." Karyn said in a long breath.
"Wow. Specific enough?" Jon said.
"Don't want anything to backfire in case this whole expidition doesn't work out like it is supposed to." Karyn said to Jon.
"Whatever, go tell your parents so that they can let you go allready." Jon said.
"Allright. Be right back." Karyn said.
Karyn ran into her living room.
Her father was sitting in his chair reading the newspaper and her mother was on the couch folding clothes.
"Mom? Dad? I'm going to go with Jon to Mexico for an undetermined amount of time. I don't know when I will be back and it will probabbly just be me and Jon exploring the jungles of Mexico alone." Karyn said in a hesitant voice. She knew that the rock should take care of everything but she was still worried.
"Allright honey. Be safe." was all her mother said.
Her father just grunted from behind the paper.
"Thanks." Karyn said walking out of the room.
"Allright, I'm good." Karyn said.
"But wait what about you?" Karyn said to Jon.
"Hmm, good point. I wish that I had allready done something similar to what Karyn had just done with her parents." Jon said.
"And just to make sure that worked." Jon said.
"I wish that I knew how my previous wish worked out." Jon said.
Suddenly Jon knew that it had worked out perfectly just like Karyn's wish had.
"Allright we are all set." Jon said.
"So how are we going to get to Mexico?" Karyn said.
"I wish that me and Karyn allready had our own private jet ready at the airport and we owned it outright because I had inherited it with the rock when my grandfather left the rock to me." Jon said.
"Wow. I guess we are going in style." Karyn said.
"Yup, now let's get going. I wish that we had a limo to drive us to the airport that my grandfather also left me in his will." Jon said.
Just then Karyn and Jon sheilded their eyes and in front of them appeared a limo with a driver. The driver got out and opened up the door for Karyn and Jon.
"Jon, maybe that should be our last wish for a while." Karyn said.
"Alright, but you gotta admit, this is pretty sweet." Jon said as he climbed into the H2 Limo.
The Driver shut the door behind Karyn as she climbed in.
"Alright it's cool but I think that you are abusing the rock. You covered your bases pretty much with these but we should limit them until we can undo the part that keeps us from undoing wishes." Karyn said.
The Driver climbed into the car and asked Jon over the speaker in the H2 Limo "Where to sir?"
"Take us to the airport please." Jon replied.
"Right away sir." the driver said.
The Limo started driving to the airport.
